Arizona

With more than 300 days of sunshine a year Arizona invites you to experience the majestic landscapes of the Grand Canyon National Park, carved out by the mighty Colorado River, and the beautiful desert oasis resorts of Phoenix/Scottsdale and Tucson. And in between the Grand Canyon and Phoenix lies the red rock canyons of Sedona - one of the most picturesque towns in America.

  • Grand Canyon National Park: needs no introduction. As one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World is a must-see for everyone.

  • Phoenix/ Scottsdale: is now the 5th largest metropolitan region in the U.S.A. and offers a multitude of 4- and 5-star resorts complete with spas and golf courses. Yet this is still part of the Sonoran Desert so it offers guests a close-up look at the unusual plants and creatures of this harsh environment.

  • Tucson: about 2 hours south of Phoenix Airport, has its share of great resorts, too, as well as a rich Spanish heritage and Cowboy culture as evidenced in the nearby outlaw town of Tombstone.

  • Sedona: is the hidden gem in the state with equally-hidden resorts tucked into the red rock canyons and lush river valleys, and a mixture of ancient Native American culture to go along with the New Age healing and mystical beliefs.
